Willpower Isn't Always Enough
The habits we struggle to break aren't character flaws or personal failures. For a long time, the advice was just to white-knuckle our way through them, which usually leaves us feeling exhausted and stuck. That approach makes sense on paper, but it ignores how our nervous system actually processes safety and stress.
Instead of trying to force or optimize your way into a new habit, this workshop focuses on what happens when we slow down. You’ll learn how to listen to your body’s actual signals and create shift from the inside out, so you can build patterns that stick without having to fight yourself every step of the way.
About the Workshop
This half-day workshop offers a grounded, accessible foundation for understanding yourself. We use a Head, Heart, and Hands approach—combining simple nervous system education with visual mapping and gentle body awareness—so you can build a relationship with your body's wisdom.
HEAD
STORY & UNDERSTANDINGAccessible teachings on how your nervous system functions, why your body responds the way it does to stress, and how safety is established.
HEART
COMMUNITY & INQUIRYAn environment for small-group reflection and honest conversation with people exploring similar questions.
HANDS
VISUAL MAPPINGExperiential exercises to help you visually map your personal cues for fight, flight, freeze, and connection.
BODY
SOMATIC PRACTICEGuided, gentle movement and sensory awareness practices to help you respond to moments of dysregulation in daily life.
You'll walk away with a practical set of tools tailored specifically to your body’s natural rhythms.
